Pizza Trials

The other day I attempted to make home made whole wheat pizza dough. I think I'm going to have to find a different recipe, though, because it looked like this after trying to knead it, spread it, and pre-bake it.
Tasty, no? I didn't think so. The dough didn't all incorporate, and it was all lumpy and not at all smooth.

It looked a little better after putting toppings on it (even though I forgot to put the sauce on first).

The kids liked it, but my tummy thought it was a bit tough, doughy, and yeasty. Anyone have a recipe I can try? Or maybe I should let the bread machine do the kneading?

I'm tired of this:

So we're trying this:

That's right. I've rearranged the cupboard so that each of us has their own section to store their own cup, bowl, plate, knife, spoon, and fork. If it doesn't get washed after it's used, they get to eat off a dirty plate or they can wash it before using it.

Let's see how this works. Thankfully, the Maytag repairman should be coming Saturday. :)

Dear Maytag,

Dear Maytag,

If you are going to issue a 1.7 million unit recall, please make sure your recall website is working before closing for the day. And if you can't get your website to work, please have more operators working. The announcement that the "high call volume is creating a long hold time" was appreciated, although expected. And the part of the announcement about visiting your website for help instead of holding doesn't help if your website isn't working.

Guess I'll sit on hold. At least you have fun music.
